Facility Management Systems Specialist

Manages the Facility Management Software System (FMSS) system including, but not limited to location identification and inventory including attached assets, condition assessment, cost estimating, life cycle information and work order generation. Provides oversight of the park's FMSS activities and must be able to prepare, implement and track a complex budget and annual work-plan as well as have the ability to perform long-range planning. Provides financial planning advice, including evaluating projected needs versus anticipated funding levels, determines submission formats, coordinates and consolidates funding requests for the Maintenance Division. Responsible for review, closeout and setup of numerous routine operational and maintenance work orders in concurrence with the division's budget. Coordinates with park staff in developing facility projects in the Project Management Information System (PMIS) though FMSS work orders and estimates for park projects. Reviews park-prepared facility PMIS projects to ensure data fields are aligned and accurate information presented, such as beginning and ending Facility Condition Index, work order types, etc. All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-06/01/2020-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect either full-time or 40 hours per week. If a part-time work schedule is reflected, the hours must be annotated to ensure proper crediting of specialized experience. To qualify for this position at the GS-09 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as:
1) knowledge of Government appropriations & accounting system to ensure appropriate accounting of expenditures; 2) correct coding of transactions and proper documentation to maintain fiscal integrity; 3) ability to compile and analyze budget information from different sources; 4) ability to identify budgetary problems & make recommendation for resolution; 5) experience in monitoring and tracking obligations/expenditures using automated systems such as NPS Administrative Financial System (AFS4) & FBMS; 6) proficiency using computers. You must include hours per week worked. -OR- EDUCATION:
Successful completion of at least a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. You must include transcripts. -OR-Successful completion of a COMBINATION of education and experience as described above. To combine education and experience, first take the number of semester hours (or equivalent) earned towards a graduate degree, in excess of 18 semester hours, and divide by 18 semester hours (or equivalent). Then take the number of months of full-time experience and divide by 12 months. Add the percentages together. The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. Volunteer

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
