Global Pattern Asset Manager

Job Description Global Pattern Asset Manager sought for our Seneca Falls, NY location.  This position requires visibility to controlled documents and US Citizenship or Green Card is required.  ITT Industrial Process (IP) is a dynamic business expanding on a global scale. Headquartered in Seneca Falls, New York, IP offers a portfolio of world-leading brands in industrial pumps, valves and monitoring and control equipment, offshore water treatment systems, and plant optimization and efficiency systems, as well as aftermarket services and parts.  Our brands include Goulds, Bornemann and Blakers Pumps, ITT Engineered Valves, ITT Pro Services and ITT C'Treat.  As the Global Pattern Asset Manager, this position is responsible for the overall management system, the Global Pattern Database usage for the identification and management of IP's patterns globally, pattern sourcing and storage techniques, inclusive of related system documentation and enhancements to manage the global pattern assets.   Trains and monitors Site Pattern Coordinators in the proper utilization of the Pattern Database. - Identify and coordinate the management of over 65,000 patterns in foundries and warehouses located in multiple countries. - Directs and facilitates pattern movement globally. - Responsible for identifying sources for maintenance work within the supply base. - Provides pricing for PAR budgeting for new patterns as requested as well as identifies existing patterns for maintenance. - Facilitate Pattern Rationalization globally, engaging Product Managers & Engineering. - Leads sourcing selections for pattern manufacturing. - Directly involved in pattern negotiations to include price, delivery schedule, quality, and performance. - Ensures proper warehousing, storage & cataloging of patterns at all IP Sites.  - Provide guidelines & minimum requirements, and monitor to ensure are compliant.  - Suggest changes/improvements as needed to the optimize the IP Pattern Database format - Stay updated on new pattern manufacturing technologies and drive use with our Sites as appropriate, including:  - Patternless Technologies  - Rapid Prototyping - Directly involved in pattern sourcing initiatives such as pattern duplication from HCR to LCR, domestic supply base reduction and resourcing, value engineering.   - Establish and maintain process for Site Pattern Coordinators to request approval before moving patterns to other suppliers. - Establish and maintain process for suppliers to proactively report pattern condition on regularly used patterns. This position requires visibility to controlled documents. Skills and Experience Education: BS Degree or 10 years industrial experience Experience: Understand and read blueprints; 5 years of associated foundry experience and/or pattern experience; experience leading project teams; developing and executing pattern management strategy Skills/Knowledge: -   Analytical Skills   and high level of PC skills; Access and Excel -   Demonstrated Project management skills -   Foundry process knowledge a plus -   Excellent interpersonal skills -   Ability to manage budgets and costs -   Familiarity with lean concepts, Green Belt certification, a plus 25% domestic travelrequired, international travelrequired as needed 8775BR
