The Role: The OEM Application Engineer will provide Customer and Application support for assigned OEM accounts across multiple Xylem branded products and plant locations, including product selection/sizing/configurations, and pricing. Responsible for direct interface with OEM Customers, Field Sales, and internal functions related to product selection and order fulfillment and post-sale service issues. The OEM Application Engineer will have daily interaction with Sales (Inside and Outside), Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Purchasing.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Provide product application support to OEM Customers and Field Sales Representatives: review customer requirements and specifications for understanding, research product performance data, configuration options, pricing and lead times using online configuration tools and related systems, recommend product configurations to satisfy customer needs, prepare and communicate pricing quotations, provide follow up communication as needed with Customers and Sales Team
Provide technical and product support to assigned sales channels, identifies opportunities for product sales expansion, supports development and implementation of tactical marketing initiatives, and supports sales activities (quotes and proposals) as assigned
Coordinate the effective processing and resolution of customer complaints: record customer complaints and associated details, research order history and product specifications, coordinate with Quality to resolve customer complaint, communicate resolution to customer and provide follow-up as needed
Coordinate flow of information between OEM Customers and Engineering on NPI: coordinate interaction and communication of information between Customers and Engineering regarding new product introductions
Participate in weekly OEM Sales and department meetings: track and report on customer activity, trends and metrics information as needed
Provide product and application knowledge to support Sales and Marketing events: participate in industry trade show events to represent products and service, participate in customer site visits as needed
Provide project support for NPI (New Product Introductions) on an assigned basis
Participate in Voice of the Customer activities as required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
